The Wabi Sabi series was a study in the Japanese aesthetic of, oddly enough, Wabi Sabi. Wabi Sabi is best summed up by architect Tadao Ando: "Pared down to its barest essence, Wabi Sabi is the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection and profundity in nature; of accepting the natural cycle of growth, decay and death."
What if baby turtles could fly? The houses on the bluff were above the marina where I lived aboard a sailboat for a few years. The fish with the bowler, I think it makes him look dapper! I like taking things out of context and placing them in unusual places. Fish know no fear.
