Statement
I work intuitively and spend little time deliberately thinking about what I see. I don't ask you to interpret my work, rather, I ask you to ask yourself, "How does this make me feel?" My work's only meaning lies in what it means to you, the viewer.
Looking at art is boring, experiencing art invites you to participate in its creation. Art asks you to step outside of the filters of our lives; our history, prejudices, life's experiences, dogmas and spirit.
To some, my art asks more that they are willing to give, and that's okay. The most important consideration is that my work asks you to experience the work, rather than simply looking at it.
